Ferry Across the Mersey - Liverpool, Seacombe, New Brighton, Moreton

This is your chance to sail on the world famous Ferry Across the Mersey. We will meet at the Liverpool Pier Head Terminal, catch the 11am ferry to Seacombe and then walk along the promenade to New Brighton with magnificent views of the River Mersey and the Liverpool skyline. Along the way there may be time to call at The Magazine, one of the oldest pubs on the Wirral with its building dating back to 1759 (www.the-magazine-hotel.co.uk).

On arrival at new Brighton we will turn westwards and walk along the Marine Promenade, past the marine lake and onto the coastal path. We will then head for the Leasowe Lighthouse  (optional climb to the top of the lighthouse) Finally, we make our way to Moreton station where we will catch a train back to Liverpool.

For those who want we can stay in Liverpool and go for a meal.

We can buy a Saveaway ticket for £6.30 which covers the cost of the ferry and the train back to Liverpool.

All photos taken by Andrew, apart from the main image which was taken from the Ferry brochure.

Don't worry if all the places have gone, put your name on the waiting list and you will get a place if someone drops out.
