Dunster and Minehead Circular Walk

This is a lovely walk taking in some fantastic high level views of the N Somerset Coast, and finishing along the beach. The circular route starts and ends in historic Dunster famous for its castle, yarn market, tithe barn and a wealth of listed buildings. The first part of the day takes us up above Dunster through forest and heathland and into the Exmoor National Park. The second part of the day sees us draw close to the coast with some excellent views across the Bristol Channel towards the mountains of S Wales, and then passing through the tourist town of Minehead, before a wind down along the beach.
At the end of the walk why not linger on in this historic town and perhaps look around the old buildings before taking an early supper together?
Please note some photos on this event page are broadly representative of the scenery we may encounter but are not taken at the actual locations.

Food & drink
Please bring a packed lunch and plenty of water with you. We won't be passing pubs or shops until we reach Minehead towards the end of the walk. Here we will break a short while for a drink and there will be the opportunity to buy things too.
