Dumyat and Castle Law Evening Walk (Stirling)

Join us for another in our series of summer evening walks - this time taking us up a miniature peak on the western edge of the Ochils range, with fine views over the Forth Valley.
Dumyat Hill lies just to the NE of Stirling and at a mere 418m is dwarfed by the great Ochils plateau to its east. It is approached by an easy hill path on its western side and the walk can include a small detour near the summit to Castle Law - an ancient hill fort on its subsidiary summit.

What to bring
You will need to have a good pair of outdoor trainers or lightweight walking boots, as some parts of the path could be muddy.
You should have a small rucksack or day bag to carry your food.
Clothing is very much weather dependant, jeans may be ok if a nice dry day is forecast however they would quickly become uncomfortable if we see a few showers. A fleece or jumper is recommended if a breeze picks up.
Food & drink
If possible, please aim to have something to eat beforehand and bring a snack and some water with you for during the walk.
If time, we may go for drinks in Bridge of Allan afterwards.
