Join Ade on this 12 mile leisurely walk around Crich taking in the ruins of Wingfield Manor, Cromford Canal and Lea Wood pump house.

Whilst there is a climb up to the Crich Stand (Sherwood Forester's war memorial lighthouse tower) most of the walk is fairly flat over the Amber valley hills or along the towpath of the Cromford canal passing by the Lea wood pump house (built in 1829). 

We'll naturally take in the obligatory pub stop and if the weather is bad stop for lunch.

Food & drink

Please bring a packed lunch and drinks for the way. We will be stopping at a pub half way and if the weather is not looking great we can stop their to eat.
