Kingham is unspoilt Cotswold village with a wide open green at its centre. It is an excellent base for walking, having a number of pubs and inns noted for their excellent food and drink, as well as a railway station on the Cotswold Line with trains running west towards Worcester and east towards Oxford and London.

Our walk will start near Kingham, and we will head out into The Cotswolds, which is an area of outstanding natural beauty, and this will be visable from our walk across limestone grassland and ancient beech woods. We will explore some of the picturesque Cotswold villages, including a pub stop at the Fox in Lower Oddington before heading back to Kingham station.
