A mostly easygoing walk over gently rolling hills in the North Cotswolds, passing through four attractive Cotswold villages. Most of the walk is on good tracks and very easy to follow. The walk starts from the only pub on the walk, at Cold Aston. It dates back to the 17th Century and the landlord claims it has a resident ghost! The walk follows the Gloucestershire Way to Notgrove, through a long avenue of trees, after leaving the road. It continues onto Hazleton and then descends into an attractive valley following a stream to Turkdean. There is a steep climb into the village that sits on the side of a hill after crossing the stream via a ford. The walk then returns to Cold Aston on a good track that connects the two villages.
