Short walk around Chester for the parade

OutdoorLads is excited to be part of the Chester Pride parade again this year.

Whether you like hill-walking or hiking, hostelling or camping, kayaking or climbing, grab your red ODL t-shirt and join your OutdoorLads mates as we march through Chester city centre in a vibrant parade that marks the beginning of the Chester Pride Festival. Participating in Pride is an important way to spread the OutdoorLads message to potential new members.

Come join in the fun of the parade, show your pride in being a part of this amazing organisation and help show that OutdoorLads does #GetOutMore!

Details of the parade are still TBC, so watch this space for more info, but it is likely to start and end in Castle Square, which is where the main stage is based.

After the parade has finished, join us as we head into the free Pride Festival in Castle Square for a few drinks to enjoy live music and great entertainment all afternoon. The Pride Festival also offers a variety of community and market stalls, food concessions, bars and a chill out zone.

Once we get to the Pride Festival we can hopefully encourage more guys to get involved in OutdoorLads events!

There will also be a Chester social the following Friday (16th August), so we will be promoting this during the day and encouraging those interested in OutdoorLads to come along and find out more.

I'm also hoping there will be some more local events planned around this date - possibly a walk on the Sunday and some climbing events in the following weeks, so this page will be updated once this is confirmed.

Feel free to message me if you have any questions before the event.

This event page will be updated when times have been confirmed and as more information on the  arrangements are published.

More information on the Parade and Pride Festival can be found on the website.
