A casual social after The Test Valley Sally

Following the Test Valley Sally walk, a number of people have mentioned to me they'd like to stop in Romsey following to look around this small market town, and perhaps have some dinner.

This is just a casual late afternoon/evening event for people to meet and get together in a new location which isn't a major city, before getting the train/car back afterwards.

I tried to put a social on in Romsey before but it fell through, so am using this as an opportunity to have something to eat and catch up with both old and new friends alike.

You are welcome to come and go as you please, break into smaller groups and just use this as a catalyst to stop around and see this great town.

Due to the day being a Saturday, I have found it difficult to book anywhere specific so will keep the numbers low on this one. Hopefully we can wonder into a local pub, hopefully the Cocky Anchor, and find a table easily enough for chilled drinks. There is a great fish and chip shop locally if that's also something which takes your fancy.
