Burnsall to Simon's Seat

This is a fantastic Yorkshire Dales circular 10 mile walk to the wonderful view point of Simon's Seat. Starting at the pretty village of Burnsall we will set off across the hills of Appletreewick Pasture on well marked footpaths. Once we reach the village of Skyreholme we descend into the valley before a steep ascent to Simon's Seat. This gritstone capped summit will hopefully give us beautiful views across Wharfedale. After stopping for lunch we make our way down to the river following an easy path through Appletreewick and back to Burnsall.
