We recognise that hauling a tent to BIG Spring Camp if you are travelling by public transport or in a packed car can be tricky. Or you may be sharing a tent with a friend as you don't yet have your own tent.
All of these reasons make renting a tent from OutdoorLads a real possible bonus for you and what is better, if you rent from us, the cost of the rental we use for the OutdoorLads Foundation. So you are therefore directly helping our Foundation continue to support our members who need it most.
For £10 we will provide you a Vango Soul 200 tent and a Vango Trek 3 Compact Sleeping Mat. This is a 2 man tent with a comfortable sleeping mat. You will need to bring a sleeping bag or other sleeping medium. You will need to collect the tent on arrival at registration - it is very easy to put up.
However, if you commit to donating a further £10 to the Foundation upon arrival, then we will erect your tent for you. Bargain price for an erection we hope you will agree! Please study the rough map of the Spring Camp site on the photo reel and send in a support ticket with your rough location and commitment to paying the additional £10. We will then have your tent erected for your arrival.
At the end of Spring Camp all we ask is that you please remove everything from the tent including any rubbish and contents of your own and we will then take the tent down and pack it away.
This is real convenience so take advantage now and make your Spring Camp much easier.
What to bring
This event page is for us to provide you with a tent and a comfortable roll mat.
You will need to bring your clothes for the weekend plus toiletries and any event specific equipment for other activities you may be doing.
Food & drink
The OutdoorLads Charity Bar
The bar is a permanent fixture in the club house offering an indoor space to relax and eat during the day/early evening then later it become a lively space with entertainment into the early hours.
We have a large number of draught/bottled beers, lagers and spirts as well as soft and hot drinks. For those real ale lovers that have been before you will remember the range of real ales that come from the brewery just a mile away.
The Bar is operated by our own OutdoorLads volunteers. The prices are kept low and all the profit made goes right back into supporting the charity.
The Marquee
Our marquee, located next to the club house is a quieter space from than the clubhouse bar, and we have some exciting developments for this space this year - watch out for further details nearer the time!
