This is one of the many events organised as part of the Big Summer Camp 2018 weekend.
This walk is the perfect medium sized day-walk of around 10-12 miles with some beautiful South Downs woodland and stunning sites of Arundel castle.
Starting off in Patching, we will climb up Patching hill and weave through the various woods, field, and copse's past Angering Park towards Warningcamp and then down to Arundel and the famous Arundel Castle.
The total ascent will be 209m, with the highest point being 108m. At one point, we'll even be -2m below sea level!
We'll finish off, in classic OutdoorLads fashion, in a local pub in Patching before heading back to the campsite in the evening.
Note that this same walk is taking place on both Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th - so be aware of which you've booked!
What to bring
This won't be snowing hiking conditions, however, please ensure you have good walking shoes and a backpack.
Water and a packed lunch are a must-however, we'll be going into Arundel as part of the route where there are a few cafe's, pubs and shops.
As ever with the British summer, it could be rain or shine-so please have a waterproof/sun-cream just in case.
Food & drink
Water, snacks and packed lunch for the day.
