Join us for a Monday mosey, for those of us who work weekends!
We are heading to West Lothian, for a walk which has lots of views and some highlights on the way. The walk starts in Bathgate and climbs out of the town to reach several viewpoints including Cairnpapple hill, which has a 5000 year old henge and Cockleroy which was used for an iron age fort. A more recent monument is the Scottish Korean war memorial, which we pass on our way between the various hills.
This is a linear walk, so it is recommended that you take the train to join us, with the start and finish both at railway stations.
Distance - 16km / 10 miles, and there is 560m of ascent to get up and down the various hills on the way!
