This is the walk I had to cancel in March 2019 due to the weather and potential floods. So rescheduled it for this date.

Join Stephen on a 9 mile walk from the picturesque village of Barbon near Kirkby Lonsdale in Cumbria
The highlights of the walk will be -
• Walking through Barbon past the Church
• Walking through the woodlands of Barbondale
• Ascending up onto the fells above Barbon passing Bullpot Farm
• Going round Lower Barbon Fell with views down the Lune Valley, Cumbrian Fells and if its clear- out to The Irish Sea
• Dropping down from the fells and seeing the Art Installations by Andy Goldsworthy, which are big boulders enclosed in Sheepfolds

• Then walking through the grounds of Whelprigg Hall and back into the village
• Finishing at The Barbon Inn for some well deserved post walk drinks and maybe some food.

NB - there is no public transport to Barbon - please consider car sharing/asking for a lift
