"Ask for Calvin" Q&A Session

I assisted in the creation of our Ask for Calvin campaign to provide assistance and a confidential listening ear to members attending OutdoorLads overnight and "big" events encountering uncomfortable or stressful situations, unwanted advances or issues of substance and alcohol misuse.  Since the campaign's roll-out at Big Spring Camp 2023, our volunteer "Calvins" have assisted around 30 members.

Would you like to learn more about becoming a volunteer Calvin?  During this on-line session I will answer your questions, provide information about the free (also on-line) mental health first aid training options, as well as how the program works at our events.

Members that register for this event will be sent the Microsoft Teams meeting invite before the meeting.  Please note that a Microsoft account is NOT required to log into the meeting.

There is absolutely no obligation to become a Calvin after this session; it is simply to provide details on the programme.  Those that are interested and become Calvins will then be invited to become a part of the Telegram channel so we can all chat, then a separate Telegram channel for each event only for those Calvins attending.
