OK so here we go. This year's MTB Enduro. 100 delicious kilometres.
Not for the faint hearted but, this time round I have included several "escape" options. Phew!! some might say.
So yeah, it's a 100 kms - or maybe not. We're starting on the junction of the Huddersfield Narrow Canal & the Peak Forest Canal at Portland Basin Museum, Ashton Under Lyne. From there we'll zipp up the Huddersfield Narrow Canal to Diggle - an easy 11 kms on the flat before dancing the Diggle Jiggle - a great 16 km mountain bike ride up hill and down dale. It starts and finishes at the start of the Standedge tunnel at Diggle and once we've returned there we'll zipp back to Ashton for lunch.
After lunch we'll ride the Peak Forest Canal to Marple, a mere 14 kms to the Start of our second MTB ride around Marple: Misty Marple to be precise, a great 22 kms of exhilarating mountain biking in some fantastic countryside.
After that we'll return to Ashton by the Peak Forest Canal to warm cars, snacks, comfy changes of clothing and happy reflections of a fantastic day.

Food & drink
Bring plenty, plenty & plenty more snacks and drinks for this one. That said keep in mind the need to travel light. We will return to the start for lunch so you can leave it in the car to negate the need to carry that round :)
The enduro is in two (almost) equal parts - 50 kms each half.
