An amble round Cheddar Gorge

Brie? Camembert? Swiss yarg? Roquefort? There will be cheesy (sorry) grins all round on this short 6k circular stomp around Cheddar Gorge, a must visit if you've not been before. While it's a shortish walk, there are hills aplenty, as you'd expect for a gorge walk, and the views are unsurpassed.
We'll start our walk from one of the main car parks, and quickly ascend high into the gorge. This walk isn't for the faint hearted and entails steep climbs, and very likely at this time of year will be very muddy, so come prepared.
We'll have time to bag some cracking views from Jacob's Tower, before coming down the many steps known as "Jacob's Ladder" before ending our walk.
Cheddar itself has everything you would expect from a small English tourist destination - quintessential shops (obviously some selling cheese), cafés, restaurants, a couple of pubs. Wookey Hole caves might also be of interest to some, at extra cost, if you haven't been before. We'll stop at one of the cafés/pubs at the end of the walk for those who want to grab a drink.
IMPORTANT! - Participation Statement
You MUST complete a Participation Statement, in addition to booking your event space before attending an OutdoorLads event. You only need to complete this Participation Statement once, not for each event you attend.

What to bring
Bring kit for all weathers. Likely to be very muddy at least some of the way.
Food & drink
Cheese sandwiches are a must, or you might opt to pick something up locally before the walk. There isn't an option to stop anywhere on the walk, but we will call into a cafe/pub after the walk for those who want it.
