We'll start the walk at Hollingworth Lake just outside Littleborough, from where we'll head under the M62 and onto the moors that border Yorkshire. From 'Windy Hill' we'll cross the footbridge that straddles the M62 at its highest point, following the Pennine Way towards Blackstone Edge, from where there are great views across Greater Manchester and beyond. Finally, descending on an old Roman Road, we'll head back towards to our start point at Hollingworth Lake.
In total the walk is about 8 miles.
