Join Stephen on a 9 mile walk in and around Farleton Fell in North Lancashire
Highlights of the walk will be
- Walking along the limestone pavements of Dalton and Hutton Roof Crags
- Passing the Uberash Breast (part of this pavement)
- Dropping down below Holmepark Fell
- Ascending up to Farleton Knott with views across to the Lake District and the Howgills
- From there we will see if we can find Turtle Rock an obviously named small boulder
- We will head towards Hutton Roof past Hanging Scar a huge boulder/erratic that is defying gravity
- Wander through Hutton Roof and return back to the car park
- Afterwards if you fancy, we can all go back down into Burton In Kendal (no where near Kendal BTW) to the Kings Arms for a post walk pint
