This is an incredible walk along one of the most rugged sections of the Ayrshire Coast. You will experience varied terrain including beaches, rocky outcrops, grassy farmland and a disused railway. Prepare yourself for stunning views and a unique sense of remoteness.

Our seven mile walk, although mostly on the flat, will take us along some rocky stretches of coastline, past harbours once used by smugglers and fishermen, sandy beaches and ruins of 16th century castles.

It is a relatively straightforward walk, but may require some care on the rockier stretches, particularly if the tide is high.

Dogs: The walk is suitable for dogs, which must be kept under control at all times, particularly near livestock.
