1. Best Value: Full Membership (Direct Debit)
The most popular way to Get Out More and save yourself some money. Set up an annual Direct Debit to ensure your membership never lapses and unlock exclusive new member rewards.

Annual Direct Debit: £65 / year
Quarterly Direct Debit: £16.75 / quarter (every 3 months), with commitment to pay for a whole year (total cost: £67)

2. Fixed-Term Options
If recurring Direct Debit isn't right for you, choose a fixed-term rate.
Fixed Term Membership
One-off payments for a set duration. You will only see these options if you are logged in. These do not include the 15-for-12 offer or the free t-shirt.
3. Concession Membership
We offer a £13.00 annual rate for those aged 18-30, in full-time education, or receiving benefits.
(Fixed-term only; Direct Debit is not available for concessions. Please log in and check OutdoorLads.com/Concessions to see full eligibility details). Once your account is approved you will see an option for £13.00 above.
4. Pay As You Go
All new members start as Pay As You Go (PAYG).
- Two Free Coupons: Check My Account > Coupons for two vouchers to attend your first events for free or at a reduced cost.
- Stay Flexible: You can remain a PAYG member as long as you like, paying for events individually.
Important Information regarding Direct Debit Membership
- Direct Debit Memberships are processed manually; we will email you once your status is updated.
- We’re unable to send alerts before payments are made; please note your renewal dates so you don’t forget.
The Guarantee is offered by all banks and building societies that accept instructions to pay Direct Debits.
If there are any changes to the amount, date or frequency of your Direct Debit, OutdoorLads will notify you (normally 10 working days) in advance of your account being debited or as otherwise agreed.
If you request us to collect a payment, confirmation of the amount and date will be given to you at the time of the request.
If an error is made in the payment of your Direct Debit, by the organisation or your bank or building society, you are entitled to a full and immediate refund of the amount paid from your bank or building society.
If you receive a refund you are not entitled to, you must pay it back when the organisation asks you to.
You can cancel a Direct Debit at any time by simply contacting your bank or building society. Written confirmation may be required. Please also notify the organisation.

In common with other organisations, OutdoorLads will notify you of a pending Direct Debit payment if the amount of the payment is changing. If the amount is unchanged, we do not notify you of pending renewal payment. It is your responsibility to manage and monitor your Direct Debit payments. You can download an app here which will enable you to track any or all of your Direct Debits and notify you when payments are due to be taken.
If you pay for your membership by Direct Debit these are the terms and conditions.
The offer of 15 months for the price of 12 and a t-shirt are only available the first time you sign up to pay your OutdoorLads annual membership by Direct Debit. T-shirts are posted out once your first direct debit payment has cleared.
The "15 months for the price of 12" offer and/or the price of membership may change from time to time.
You will receive email confirmation from us regarding your payment plan and the subsequent dates on which your annual / quarterly payments will be taken, before we collect any money from you. This will come from finance@outdoorlads.com. We aim to process new Direct Debit requests within 2 working days. Direct Debit payments are processed on the 1st of the month or the next working day.
You may choose to pay for your annual membership annually, or quarterly. Current rates are £65 if paid annually, or £16.75 per quarter - which is £67 a year. The £2 difference simply reflects the additional costs we incur from our direct debit provider for additional collections.
If you are choosing to pay quarterly, please be aware that you are still committing to an annual membership, it is just that the payment for it is being spread into four payments. If you fail to make a payment when due we will contact you to make the payment, if this is not paid you will revert to PAYG membership and the remainder of the annual payment is still due. Once paid we will reinstate your Full Membership for the original term. If you do not make the payment due, we reserve the right to refuse any future quarterly payment request and may cancel your place on future events that you had booked as a Full Member.
It is your responsibility to manage any Direct Debit payments that you set up. If you wish to cancel your Direct Debit at any time, please inform you bank. They will then advise us that you have cancelled the future payments and we will then set your Full Membership to expire at the end of the period for which you have paid. Once your Full Membership expires, you will become a Pay As You Go Member.
OutdoorLads reserves the right to withdraw any offers for joining the Direct Debit scheme at any time.
