The mountain rivers of Nepal descend faster and steeper than most rivers on the planet, ensuring the presence of thrilling rapids that are perfect for rafting. The crystal waters of the Bhote Kosi, the Sun Kosi and the Kalighandaki among others drop from the foothills of the Himalayas to the Terai, the flat floodplains of Nepal that border Northern India. Learn why Nepal is one of the top world destinations for white water rafting and what makes the rafting expeditions so pristine. Nepal's rivers are under threat from the development of hydropower stations, roads and factories and these wilderness expeditions are slowly becoming harder to find. Join us for the talk to learn about what can be done to help protect Nepal's wilderness and why you should visit soon.

This talk is being given by Nick Read who has rafted and kayaked most of Nepal's rivers, he is being joined by Nepal's top raft guide Rebati (Hari) who will be joining us live from Kathmandu. Hari will give us an update on what is happening in 2021 in Nepal and talk about the OutdoorLads trips he has led in Nepal since 2014.

While you're here...

We're painfully aware that people are struggling at the moment, so for those that can't #GetOutMore, we don't want to charge you to #StayInMore.

If you are a PAYG Member and in a position to make a donation in return for a #StayInMore event you've really enjoyed, we'd massively appreciate it. Full members can donate too, of course. We welcome any and all support for the charity.

We want to make sure OutdoorLads is here in the future to get more gay, bi and trans guys in to the great outdoors.
