West Sussex Area Social: October 2019 (Jack on the Green Festival, Worthing)

Finishing its 2019 summer tour, the West Sussex Social is doing something a bit different for October. It will all be about the pretty lights.

We will be visiting The Cow & Oak pub, just off Worthing's seafront and also visiting the Jack on the Green lights festival in nearby Beach House Park. This event is run by Same Sky, renowned for running Burning the Clocks in Brighton for over 20 years. On Same Sky's website, the event is described, "See the park in a different way, enjoy this night of lights & lanterns. Come along to enjoy this lit trail around Beach House Park between 6pm and 8.30 pm, you will experience the park in a whole new light!"

We will meet in the pub, have a drink and an optional something to eat, then wander over to the lights, finishing with another drink for those that want. And yes, this is on a Sunday.

Worthing is served by direct trains from Brighton and London and there is some on-street parking adjacent to the pub.

The West Sussex social is a great way to keep in touch with guys you have met on previous events whilst talking to event leaders about forthcoming events.
