🌲 Join Outdoor Lads for a Fabulous 10-Mile Adventure!🌲
Hey there! Are you ready for a day of fresh air, stunning scenery, and a hint of fun? This Saturday, 22 November, we’re heading out for a delightful circular walk through the enchanting Bentley Wood and the picturesque grounds of the Norman Court Mansion and Stud Farm.
What’s the Plan?
At our halfway point, we'll find some cozy logs to sit on and enjoy our packed lunch. But wait—there’s more! This lovely spot is also the perfect place to let loose and dance under a canopy of beautiful English trees. Don’t worry if dancing isn’t your thing; Jono will be leading a taster session of Biodanza, a joyful movement practice from South America. It’s all about relaxation, embracing your senses, and connecting with others in a fun, liberating way. Trust me, you’ll want to join in the laughter!
Soon following the stop we will take a slight diversion from the pictured route to the village of Farley - where there the welcoming Hook and Glove pub awaits for your refreshment of choice.
Why You’ll Love It:
- Breathtaking Woodland: Explore a biological Site of Special Scientific Interest, recognized in 1985. Managed by the Friends of Bentley Wood Charitable Trust, this woodland is one of the most wildlife-rich areas in Southern England.
- Relaxing Pace: Whether you’re a walking pro or just dipping your toes in, we’ll keep a leisurely pace so everyone can soak in the beauty together.
- Furry Friends Welcome: Bring your dogs along! Just keep them on a leash!
Meeting Point/Parking: West Tytherley (details shared upon booking).
