The Viking Way & Rambler's Church Day Walk

Join Chris for a 9-mile (14.5 km) walk through the Lincolnshire Wolds, beginning in the village of Walesby. We start on a lower path before climbing towards Normanby le Wold, where the higher ground gives clear views across much of Lincolnshire.
Our lunch stop is All Saints Church, often called the Ramblers’ Church. It is known for its distinctive stained-glass window showing walkers and cyclists, added in the 1950s, and for its long association with people exploring the Wolds.
After lunch, we continue on towards Tealby and stop at the King’s Head, one of the oldest thatched pubs in Lincolnshire, with parts of the building dating back to the 14th century.
We finish the walk with a relaxed return to Walesby along a lower, quieter route, bringing the day to a close.
For those interested in a Parkrun before the event, the nearest one is in Market Rasen, just 5.5 miles (11 minutes) away.
