Join the OutdoorLads for A Saturday Night in Blackpool for A Summer Social !
Join us for an unforgettable evening in Blackpool, where the promenade truly comes alive after dark. We’ll begin with a relaxed walk along the seafront, soaking up the electric atmosphere as the lights shimmer against the Irish Sea.
As the evening unfolds, we’ll head into some of Blackpool’s popular local brew houses, and explore the new bars on the energetic LGBTQ+ scene.
Of course, no great night out is complete without good food. There will be opportunities to grab a bite along the way — whether that’s classic seaside fish and chips, late-night street food, or something a little more substantial to keep us going. And for a true taste of tradition, why not indulge in ice cream or fluffy candyfloss as we stroll? After all, you’re never too old for a little seaside sweetness !
This is set to be a lively, friendly, and flexible evening — perfect for enjoying Blackpool’s legendary nightlife at your own pace, discovering new favourites, and making brilliant memories along the way.

There are plenty of car parks in Blackpool, and there is free parking in the streets. A charge applies if you wish to park on the prom. Blackpool North and Blackpool South train stations are easily accessible. There are, of course, the trams which you can use. Alternatively, you may wish to utilise a horse-drawn fairy princess carriage !
The meeting point is located in between North and Central Pier. Blackpool North Train Station is approximately 15 mins walk away.
Smart casual clothing. No track suit bottoms or shorts please !
Many of us usually book accommodation over this weekend, so why not make a weekend of it and take advantage of the variety of hotels and B & B's in the area ?!
