Our outward journey will be by steam railway on the heritage railway line from Llangollen to Carrog as it follows the course of the River Dee. Interesting information about the line can be found at http://llangollen-railway.co.uk/the-line/
We'll then disembark and walk via the undulating Dee Valley Way back to Llangollen. On route, sights we'll see include the famous Horsehoe Falls. On arrival back in Llangollen, there will no doubt be a tea and cake and/or pub stop as a reward!
What to bring
If this is your first day walk and you're not sure what to wear or bring with you, please see the 'My First Day Walk' section of the 'Events' menu above.
Food & drink
You'll need to bring a packed lunch with you, along with sufficient water to keep you hydrated during the walk (recommended 1-2 litres).
