St Fagans day trip

Come and join me for a lovely day out to St Fagans National History Museum.
St Fagans has a special place in the hearts of the people of Wales. It has first opened its gates to the public on 1st July 1948. This was the UK's first national open air museum. It was radical in its day because it reflected the everyday lives of ordinary people. Since then, it has become Wales' most popular heritage visitor's attraction. Brief bit if history there.
This will be just a nice, leisurely Social walk through the museum, taking in all the Welsh culture & how they lived. If it's wet, there's plenty to see indoors (but waterproofs/umbrellas useful for getting from building to building).
The entry is free, you just need to pay £5 for parking which will last the day. Unfortunately the machines there don't take notes or cards so you'll have to make sure you bring change.
But this is just the beginning of a good full day, later on in the day I will be organising a bowling social evening. I will be posting two events separating the bowling & a pub gathering. In that way you have got the choice of coming to all three events, two events or just coming to one.
What to bring
I would like to think the weather should be nice and sunny around that time of the year, but as we're in Britain be prepared. So just wear normal day to day clothes & trainers, but you can wear walking boots if you prefer.
If the weather happens to be wet, then bring coats and overalls.
Food & drink
There is a cafe and restaurant there, so we can grab a coffee or something to eat if anyone wants that. But I think, to save money, we'll bring packed lunches with us as there are seating areas around the Museum where you can look at the surroundings. But weather providing we'll see.
