South Midweek Walk 2019 - Billingshurst Lordings Lock Circle
2 people attending
18 places left
We leave the station and pass quickly through the build up areas into open countryside (after crossing the A29). Breath in before the sewage works and breath out past Great Lordings Wood. We cross the B2133, past Tanners Farm and swap over to the footpath which takes us on the Way South path close to Lording's Lock and its unique water wheel. Following the Wey South Path, occasionally seeing the Arun, we take a right, past Guildenhurst Manor and out on the B2133 again and close to the Limeburners Inn where we will stop for a drink/meal. See food and drink. After the pub, we continue on a footpath to cross the A29 again and back to the railway station to end the walk.
The event will close at 12.30pm on the day of the walk and you will not be able to register or remove yourself after this time.

Food & drink
Bring something to snack on to keep you going if necessary. We intend to stop at the Limeburners http://www.limeburnersbillingshurst.co.uk/ for a drink and food.
If you bring a packed meal instead, please do not eat in the pub garden. I can direct you to the footpath we will be continuing on, which will be a nicer place to eat in this area, then meet us back at the pub.
