This is a classic Peak District hike taking in the spectacular Kinder Downfall, Edale Rocks and the stunning varied landscape. However, don’t be fooled this is a big hike but you'll be rewarded with stunning views. Starting from Hayfield we will journeying upwards to the bleak moorland on the Snake Path towards the Shooting cabin with only the shrill of grouses, breaking the silence.
With Kinder Reservoir at center stage, it’s upwards along William Clough stream, which will involve some scrambling before we make it to the lofty heights of Ashop Head. From here the views far and wide are stunning and all the more spectacular when we arrive at Kinder Downfall.
We then follow the Pennine Way for more strange rock formations before making our way back to Hayfield in time for a refreshing pint.
