An autumnal walk through Knole Park, past Knole House, the largest house in Kent and now managed by the National Trust. We’ll continue along the wooded Greensand Ridge to another National Trust property, Ightham Mote, then on to the village of Shipbourne, where we will stop for lunch on the common and a drink in the pub.
After lunch we will drop down to Tonbridge through picturesque farming country, following ancient droves past some beautiful old properties. On arrival in Tonbridge walkers can either head straight for the station or can stop for a drink in West Kent’s premier beer cafe, Fuggles.
