POSTPONED - Norfolk Road Cycling 3/3 - Bimble & Afternoon ..
7 people attending
5 places left
The third of three road rides around Norfolk over the Easter bank holiday weekend. There will be rides on the Friday, Sunday and a short one on the Monday. The plan is to chill on the Saturday (11th April), it's a holiday after all. Depending on the weather, we might go to the beach, go cruising on the broads or even a cycle.
The Monday ride is a 50km, half day, circular road cycle bimble followed by Afternoon Tea in Cromer. Most of us will need to drive home, hence the half day cycle. You can view the route here (don't pay any subscriptions, if you need a GPX file contact the leader). We head south along the coast before cutting inland to National Trust's Felbrigg Hall. Bring your membership card if you have one. It looks like the National Cycle Route goes past the front door.
On return to Cromer we will have Afternoon Tea at one of the many cafes. On average, an afternoon tea is around £14pp.
If you aren't too sure if this ride is suitable for you, send the leader a message. Please note leaders aren't alerted to messages at the bottom of this event page, best to send them a direct message if you have any queries.
Will, your leader will be staying at Manor Farm Caravan & Camping Site just outside Cromer. If staying here, please don't mention you are part of a group, single-sex groups get mistaken for stag parties. Plenty of alternative accommodation available in the surrounding area if you fancy a little luxury.
