Join us as we bag a couple of fine Corbetts on the south side of Glen Orchy

The hills in question are Beinn Bhreac-liath (802m) and Beinn Udlaidh (840m) but 'Glen Orchy Corbetts' seems less of a mouthfull!

Our circular route of around 7.5 miles consists largely of grassy slopes making for a relatively straightforward walk with minimal scrambling. Beinn Udlaidh does however have some interesting geological features with a number of corries and a quartzite dyke that bisects it north-east ridge as well as affording fine views to its mighty neighbours, most notably Ben Lui to the south.

Although December and January have been relatively mild, should winter make a belated appearance during February, bear in mind that there may still be a significant covering of snow on the mountains in late March.
