A reasonably challenging day walk which starts from "Plague Village" (otherwise known as Eyam) in Derbyshire and explores some of the hills and moorland to the North of the village.

We'll climb out of Eyam up to Eyam Moor, then taking in some woodland before heading down along Abney Clough into Abney. From here we'll head up onto Abney Moor and wind our way back to Eyam via Abney Moor & Eyam Edge for a well deserved pint at one of the local pubs.

There are two car parks (one behind each other).  One is free (owned by the village) and the other pay and display (owned by the council).  We'll meet in the free car park. Turn right just past the P&D carpark.

Due to shortened daylight hours, the walk will start on time.
