A Bit About The Venue: 
Zia Lucia is a small chain, with the Reading branch opening in 2024, and has won awards for its pizzas. One of the unique aspects is the ability to choose from 4 doughs as part of the pizza base including the unique charcoal flavoured one. The venue offers a choice of toppings including a vegan option and also serves beer, wine and soft drinks. This should be a reasonably quiet venue, as it's a small one, enabling good conversation without a lot of background noise. More details about the venue can be found here

New Year Empty Feeling
After all of the festivities of the Christmas and New Year period have come to an end and it's time to get back to work and those normal routines resume, January can feel like a long and uneventful month whilst we are still enduring the middle of winter. It’s easy to feel a little more isolated at this time of the year so that’s why these social events are so important! They’re the perfect way to stay connected, meet new people, and share optimism about what you are planning in 2026.
