Come and join the Oxford crowd for a Friday evening of fun, starting in Central Oxford from where we will later make our way to the famous Paradise Street.

New to OutdoorLads and thinking of going on your first trip? An ODL veteran and wanting to catch up with guys you have met on events? Or if you simply fancy an evening with a different group of guys then this event is for you. Come along to The Four Candles in the heart of Oxford and spend an hour or two with OutdoorLads.

Come on. You know you want to. 

Start 2020 by joining ODL. Not just a walking group but a community of like-minded guys. One of the many types of events you can sign up for are socials like these.

Join us at one of Oxford's favourite central pubs for a chat over a pint to find out more about ODL. It's the perfect, relaxing, way to make friends and expand your horizons.

Plan for the evening

We will be at The Four Candles from 19:00, just come along and grab some food and/or drink(s) and stay for as little or as long as you want.

Getting there

If you are arriving by train, the pub is only 0.4 miles away (less than 10 minutes walk).

Is it a regular event?

The Oxford Social is held once a month at pubs in and around the city. Occasionally they are combined with walks, bowling etc.

Other socials are held throughout the month at a variety of locations. Check out the ODL calendar or map to find the nearest to you.

Can I bring a friend?

Yes of course, especially those who might be interested in what we do. We are meeting in a public venue and it would be great to introduce others to OutdoorLads.

How will I find the group?

A red ODL t shirt should be on the table where we will be sitting.
