The Llanberis Mountain Rescue team is an entirely voluntary organisation with the simple aim to help those in need in the mountains around Snowdon. The teams patch includes Snowdon, Lliwedd, Garnedd Ugain, Crib Coch, Yr Aran, Moel Eilio and the south side of the Glyderau. This extensive area of mountainous terrain boasts some of the finest walking, scrambling and rock climbing in the country and Snowdon, being the highest mountain in England and Wales, draws in 700,000 visitors each year.

Learn all about how the team is organised, how it responds to people in need and how to call them if you are in need in the mountains.

Nick Read is an OutdoorLads member and active member of the Llanberis Mountain Rescue team. He is giving this talk for free, but if you would like to donate to the team you can do so here: www.llanberismountainrescue.co.uk/donate

While you're here...

We're painfully aware that people are struggling at the moment, so for those that can't #GetOutMore, we don't want to charge you to #StayInMore.

If you are a PAYG Member and in a position to make a donation in return for a #StayInMore event you've really enjoyed, we'd massively appreciate it. Full members can donate too, of course. We welcome any and all support for the charity.

We want to make sure OutdoorLads is here in the future to get more gay, bi and trans guys in to the great outdoors.
