The 2nd of 2 evening events exploring the upper Goyt Valley by Mountain Bike.

The route takes us on a mixture of paved roads, bridleways and forest tracks from Errwood Reservoir high onto the Moorlands to Derbyshire Bridge before taking the Old Road To Buxton, now a gravel track.

From Buxton we climb out on the old Buxton Whaley Road, before following a few Bridleways above Coombs before returning to the Goyt Valley and the old tramway along Fernilee Reservoir.

Although there are some tough climbs, the whole route is rideable with nothing too technical.

For this ride you will need a good hard tail or full suspension mountain bike. Bring lights just in case of unexpected delays.
