800m of climbing over 80km of cycling. mostly quiet roads but occasional A roads.

The first day in a series of day cycles around the Cotswolds/Wiltshire over the August bank holiday weekend.  Make a weekend of it, or come for the day, totally your choice. See here for Day 2  and Day 3

Starting in the quaint village of Sherston, the route heads north thru Malmesbury before dropping into Nailsworth at the heart of the Stroud Valleys. Climbing thru Woodchester Park (National Trust) to a peak we then drop in towards Dursley before climbing back onto the ridge.  Finally we descend slowly thru Westonbirt to a well deserved drink back home.

Please note that ODL requires you to wear a helmet. Play safe!

If you want to make a weekend of it, then you'll probably be wanting to book yourself some accommodation as well. Your leaders are staying in Sherston for the bank holiday weekend.  There are a plenty of campsites and hotels in the surrounding area.
