UPDATE: Saturday Fancy Dress theme is DEAD FAMOUS!!
The South East Christmas Weekend is one of the most sought after events of the year and a highlight of the ODL calendar.
This year we are venturing to the 'Garden of England' to explore the Kent countryside.
Whilst we cannot guarantee snow we can promise a fabulous fun weekend. It all starts on Friday night with a glass of mulled wine and mince pie to warm you up after your journey. After the traditional ODL buffet there will be a festive Quiz or alternatively chill out.
To prep you for the winter walks on Saturday, there will be an offering of bacon rolls at breakfast.
Post the walks why not enjoy a glass of mulled Apple juice before getting changed into your fancy dress for the evening's festivities.
We will congregate in the Straw Barn with a glass of cava and to admire each other's outfits before sitting down for a stunning 3 course meal. I do believe a certain Mr Claus will be visiting us before desertll!!!! If you want to join in with the Secret Santa don't forget to bring a present. If that wasn't enough after the meal there will be more games and a chance for a bit of a boogie.
What to bring
We will be offering a couple of day walks on Saturday - so bring walking gear suitable for the time of year. Don't forget your towel, wash kit and clothes to wear around the hostel.
On Friday night you are encouraged to dig out your festive gear - whether it be a festive jumper, or those reindeer slippers you got given last year.
Saturday night is our fancy dress night - and this year's theme is DEAD FAMOUS!!
Have you been naughty or nice? Santa will be paying a visit during the weekend. If you would like to join in the Secret Santa please bring a pre-wrapped present up to the value of £5
