⚫️ This extreme event is suitable for very experienced mountain bikers. Please message the event leader if you've not ridden this area before. Full face helmet, elbow and knee pads are required as the minimum protection.

✅ If you're unsure about attending, just come along to our ride for intermediate riders on the first day of this series. Alternatively, there is going to be an entire extended weekend in Glentress/Innerleithen, lead by Mark, from 25th of August. Check it out →

👀 We'll explore some of the uncharted trails from near the antenna mast at the top of the Black trail. The entrance will be a short while after the waypoint "Britney Spears". This is of no relevance to the ride, I just wanted to point out this waypoint's existence. Members are reminded to partake in the obligatory Womanizer sing-along 😉

↔️ ~15-18 miles, ~900m ascent

⛺️ I recommend the Glentress Forest Lodges for nearby accommodation. You can leave your car on the campsite and cycle directly from there.

🚲 There are a number of bike hire places, for example Alpine. Early bookings are recommended.

⏭️ This ride is part of a series, why not join the other rides:

  1. Friday: Glentress Red trails
  2. Saturday: Golfie trails + Glentress Blue night ride
  3. Sunday: Innerleithen DH trails
  4. Monday: Glentress Off-piste (This event)
