A good circular walk from the historic riverside town of Fordingbridge, up along the River Avon, up onto the Downs and then looping back to the starting point. We will be visiting Breamore, a historic village with the intact Saxon Church of St Mary and see the manor, recorded here in 1086. We'll also walk up to the Giant's Grave long barrow and see the Mizmaze. All of this is in an area of SSSI. All photos thanks to Geograph and  labelled 'Free to use and share' under the Creative Commons License.)
