Film and Comic Con day out

Calling all fellow geeks. If you love Science Fiction, comic books and games then this is the event for you. This is a good event to socialize, checkout a wide variety of stalls and seeing people dress up in all manner of costumes (cosplayers), maybe even your favourite hero or character.
The stalls sell all sorts of amazing pop culture products ranging from; comic books, figurines, old games and consoles, clothes. All things that may take you back to when you were a kid growing up. You can also have an autograph from an actor you may know or a favourite character from films and TV shows you have watched.
The list of guests that so far are going to comic con are:- Christian Simpson (Doctor Who), Camille Coduri (Doctor Who), Casper Van Dien (Starship Trooper), Nicola Bryant (Doctor Who), Dickey Beer (Star Wars), David Gooderson (Doctor Who) and Michael Jayston (Doctor Who). There maybe more guests, keep a look out on the website.
There is no set plan for the day, I just thought this would be a nice, calm social outing in Cardiff. What we could do after we have finished the convention is walk around Cardiff centre or, if the weather is nice, walk down to the Bay and sit by the water whilst having an afternoon drink at a café or pub.
Tickets are sold on the website, which is https://www.filmandcomicconcardiff.com/ or at the door. I would recommend purchasing tickets online as this avoid us queuing to enter the building, we can just walk in. Tickets online are £9. Just make sure to purchase the Saturday ticket at 11am.
What to bring
Just normal everyday clothes. If you do want to dress up that's up to you ha :D
Food & drink
There are food stalls at the convention, but if you want to bring your own food then that's no problem. Alternative Cardiff does offer a range of restaurants in the city, so we can always go somewhere to eat.
