This is one of two days walks over the weekend. For accommodation, try the brand new facilities at the Yorkshire Cycle Hub (www.yorkshirecyclehub.co.uk) or contact the walk leader for other options.

Spring in the North York Moors means Farndale Daffodils. This is a 10.5 mile circular walk taking in the main daffodil route along the banks of the River Dove, but also climbing up over the ridge ito Bransdale to pass the haunted Bransdale Mill.

From the car park at Low Mill, we climb steadily up on to Rudland Rigg. This takes us through farmland before heading up onto heather moorland.

We then drop down into Bransdale to find the haunted mill - Bransdale Mill, where ODL once had a hostel weeked but were too scared to go back.

Passing close to the hamlet of Cockayne (a local village for local people) we head back up and over the Rigg down into Farndale by the Feversham Arms at Church Houses.

From here, we start the famous daffodil route, past the Daffy Cafe, returning to our start at Low Mill.
