Day trip to Another Place - 100 mile Cycle

Join Will on this 100 mile linear cycle from Telford to Crosby Beach near Liverpool.
This event is a precursor to Escape to Another Place - Overnight Cycle taking place the following month. I wanted the opportunity to cycle the route in the daylight to iron out any kinks and was hoping not to go alone.
At Crosby beach we will be welcomed by Sir Antony Gormley's 'Another Place' artwork comprising 100 cast iron figures facing towards the sea.
The proposed route can be viewed here. We will cycle through Newport, Market Drayton and stopping at our half way point in Chester for some food. We will then continue through Frodsham, Runcorn and the heart of Liverpool before arriving at Crosby beach.

You MUST complete the Cycling Participation Statement in addition to booking your event space before attending a cycling event.
COVID-19 – IMPORTANT, Please read the following before you sign up to this event:
- Anyone with COVID-19 symptoms, even if they are extremely mild, or who lives or is in a support bubble with someone showing symptoms, is asked not to attend. This is in line with the government’s coronavirus advice.
- You must also immediately self-isolate and not attend the event if you or someone in your household or support bubble shows coronavirus symptoms or tests positive. Read the NHS self-isolation guidance.

What to bring
BIKE: a road bike.
LIGHTWEIGHT LOCK: not a D lock (they are HEAVY)!
Plus the usual:
Helmet: OutdoorLads requires you to wear one
Footwear: suitable for your bike and pedals
Gloves: cycle gloves help avoid blisters
Punctures: spare inner tubes (at least 2), bike tyre pump and tyre levers
Tools: any special tools that your bike needs
Small snacks: such as chocolate or energy bars
Plenty of water: in bottle/s on your bike or in a daypack / bladder
Medicines: if you have hay fever, diabetes, minor ailments etc.
Eye protection: avoid getting grit or insects in your eyes, sunglasses are OK if they are not made of glass and not too shaded
Bike lights: useful even in daylight for being seen.
Mobile Phone and external battery pack.

Food & drink
Bring plenty of water and plenty snacks.
The hope is to stop for some lunch in Chester.
