Cotswold Water Park Evening Meet
1 people attending
9 places left
On Wednesday evenings throughout the summer months, the Cotswold Water Park holds practice sessions for people to develop their skills on the water. They don't offer lessons at this event, so it's only meant for people who are able to safely and independently use the equipment, but the staff are really helpful so if you have any problems with your rigging, or can't find the right paddle for your board, they'll be very happy to help.
Depending on the wind levels, I'll either be on a windsurf or a paddle board.
Equipment, including mandatory life jackets and optional helmets are available to use free of charge.
Valuables are best left in your car, then you can ask reception to look after your keys.
What to bring
Wet suit or swim-shorts and t-shirt if it's too hot for that
Boat boots
Sunblock
Towel and shower gel
Dry clothes
Food & drink
There's very limited snacks available at the centre so the best bet is to bring any food and drink you might want. There are good pubs in the area if you're looking for a place to eat following fun on the water.
