Chesil Beach and Abbotsbury circular
15 people attending
5 places left
***NEW DATE - 30th October***
Join me for a circular walk taking in some stunning Dorset countryside.
We’ll meet at the beach car park on Abbotsbury before walking along the beach, up onto the ridgeway and back down again, taking in some pretty countryside and views over the English Channel. If the weather is clear we’ll be able to see for miles along the coast, along to Devon to the west and Portland and towards Swanage in the east. We’ll past through Abbotsbury village with a stop for a pint or a cream tea, and head up to St Catherine’s Chapel.
It’s a fairly easy walk other than one steep hill onto the ridgeway.
Dogs
Please bring your four-legged friend! But be aware there's a few styles and your pooch will need to be put on a lead as we go through a farm and a few sheep fields.
