Cawdor Castle Walled Garden and Laburnum Avenue

This is another in the series of Scottish garden visits which are designed to be as accessible as possible to the widest range of members. We are hoping that the date we have chosen will coincide with the flowering of the Laburnum Avenue at Cawdor Castle (weather dependent, of course). If we are in luck, this should be a spectacular sight!
The gardens at Cawdor are well worth visiting and the entry fee is £10 per person to be paid at the ticket office. For an extra £6.50 you can also tour the castle itself which, again, is well worth exploring and this could be done independently as an add-on to our planned walk. You don't have to decide until the day itself how long you want to spend at Cawdor. There's a very nice cafe for refreshments...
We will meet at the ticket office at 11am sharp.
This event has been planned as a relaxing walk to follow Highland Pride the day before and the Pride Social on the Saturday evening, although it is obviously open as a stand alone event to those who have not attended Pride events.
