This day walk welcomes you to join your fellow OutdoorLads for a circular walk around the pretty Suffolk Market town of Framlingham, known as Fram by the locals.

Famous for many historical reasons, the Castle On The Hill that Ed Sheeran sings of in his chart topping single, is in Framlingham.  So yes - we will be heading past it for photo opportunities.  I make no apologies if you are now humming this song.

At just under 9 miles the circular route take us around the outskirts of the town, also passing Saxted Green Mill also an English Heritage site like the castle.

Is it dog friendly?  Dogs are welcome but please note and abide by the Countryside Code ( and be prepared couple of stiles on the rest of the walk. Please also remember not everyone loves dogs as much as you do so please be mindful of other members.

New Members - I would like to warmly welcome any newbies looking perhaps to try this as their first OutdoorLads event. You may find this link useful or if you have If you have any questions then feel free to message me.
