Buttermere is one of the most beautiful places in the Lake District. A picture postcard lake surrounded by some of the most dramatic mountains. During our two night stay we will have the chance to climb peaks like Grasmoor, Robinson, High Style, and Fleetwith Pike. These fells afford views out to sea and the Isle of Man or Scotland, and across to the central fells. On Sunday we might just enjoy a leisurely walk around the lake. The lakeside village of Buttermere has a pub and Syke Farm Tearoom which is located 2 minutes away from the site, does a very popular breakfast in the mornings.
