This is a low-impact, beginner-friendly session. There’s no cardio, no heavy lifting, and no complex poses. It’s all about gentle movement and recovery - if you can sit on the grass and breathe, you can do this!

This is one of the events organised as part of Big Spring Camp 2026

Reset your body and mind after the burn.

Whether you’ve just finished the Sunday Hybrid Workout or you’re feeling the effects of a busy weekend at camp, this 30-minute session is designed to help you recover properly. This isn't a complex yoga class - it’s a practical, guided recovery session led by Emrys, focused on the specific muscles worked during our functional fitness blocks.

The Session

We will move through a series of deep, restorative stretches to open up the hips, release the lower back, and flush out the legs. We’ll focus on "The Big Three" athletic openers to ensure you leave feeling mobile rather than stiff. We wrap up with a five-minute "CNS Reset," using guided breathing to shift your body from high-alert into total relaxation.

The Focus:

  • Decompression: Releasing the spine after running and impact.
  • Mobility: Targeting tight glutes, hip flexors, and calves.
  • Recovery: Calming the nervous system so you’re ready for the evening festivities.

What should I bring?

Please bring a yoga mat or a large towel, as the majority of this session takes place on the grass. As your heart rate drops, your body temperature will too, so we highly recommend bringing a warm jumper or hoodie to wear during the final relaxation phase.

Note: No prior experience or flexibility is required. If you can breathe, you can take part!

Who’s running the session?

Tom is a dedicated yoga enthusiast who believes that finding your flow is just as important as pushing your limits. He’ll guide you through a routine focused on accessibility and "good vibes," helping you stay centered, mobile, and injury-free throughout the weekend.
